Description
The Lunar Outpost™ moon rover vehicle from the Lego Technic series is a replica of a moon rover vehicle from Lunar Outpost. According to the stickers, it is likely to be a licensed model, although this vehicle does not yet exist in real life. The model includes three different rovers: a lunar rover, a mining rover, and a MAPP rover. The crane on the main rover can be used to lift the smaller mining rover or the container with the rock samples and stow them on the rover. The vehicle has swing axles at the front and rear and is steered by 4-wheel steering. The solar panels can also be folded in and out. The mining rover has grippers at the front to pick up rock samples and place them in the transport capsule. All in all, the model is a fascinating gift for children who love toy robots and are enthusiastic about space travel and lunar exploration.
