Description
The 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) from the Lego Technic series is the second car from the film series of the same name after the 42204 model. The model offers some ingenious functions and details. For example, the doors, hood and tailgate can be opened. An in-line six-cylinder engine is installed under the hood, which is driven by both the rear and front wheels via a differential. A mechanism is installed at the rear that lifts the rear wheels and at the same time switches the speed ratio between the front and rear wheels. As a result, drifts can be executed perfectly and the higher speed of the rear wheels compared to the front wheels gives the impression that the wheels are spinning and the drifts look even more realistic. The paintwork has been recreated with many stickers as well as printed parts. We give the model a 5-star rating.
