Description
This model was my favourite toy, next to the Tractor 8859, in my childhood. For a long time it was the largest model in the Lego Technic series, and I am still amazed at what functions can be achieved with relatively few parts. The model has its problems because it is not easy to build a functional first gear; even if only a small cogwheel is too close to the perforated beam, it blocks the cross bar, and the wheels jam immediately because the first gear is actually too short. This is also the reason why on newer models the first gear has been blocked in the manual gearbox from the beginning. It’s a great model of the early Lego Technic years and is still a lot of fun today. A must in every collection!
