Description
The Ocean Explorer from the Lego Technic series is the second ship ever to be produced in this series after the Supply Ship 8839 from 1992. Visually the model is very, very well done, but unfortunately it contains few functions. Even the propeller drive has not been implemented, so the ship can only be steered and the crane can be moved, that's about it, except for small functions of the helicopter and the submarine. The assembly is a lot of fun and the model is solidly constructed, but due to the few functions, it’s not that fun later. All in all, the Ocean Explorer gets four stars in the overall rating.
